About CollegeDough.com
|
At CollegeDough.com, we believe that regardless of location, sex, race, age, gender, disability or sexual orientation everyone should have an opportunity to pursue higher education. The lack of access to information should not be the reason to discourage anyone from pursuing their educational goals. CollegeDough.com provides today’s college and college-bound students with a comprehensive online resource kit of information, advice columns, personal testimonies, and financial know-how. Our website offers information and resources relevant to students across the country with an emphasis on Washington State. We are here to link all students to resources for their college planning. Our goal is to ease the burden of the financial, social, and/or emotional stress by providing a network of information and resources with a student-oriented approach. This is the reason we founded CollegeDough.com -- a site for students, by students. |

Christopher Smith

“High school was a challenge for me
just like any other student. I had trouble juggling school and my personal
life. I barley had enough time to breath let alone prepare for college.”
At the age of 18 Chris Smith co-founded CollegeDough.com with a dream to create an online experience where students could find all of their college resource needs, while participating in an ever growing community at the same time. With group determination and support from the community, his dream became a reality. “It feels so good waking up every morning knowing that I have helped students like me make it through one of the toughest times of their life, high school.” He now attends school abroad in Wellington, New Zealand. |

Elliott Ferguson

Currently as a Junior at Hampton University I’ve realized that college is an experience like no other in life. During college is the only time where you truly have the freedom to explore yourself and your passions without limit. I recently returned from a semester in Spain and have discovered that one of the best opportunities for college students is to travel and see the world while world views are still young. I’m still working towards graduating in the next 3 years with my masters in Business Administration then continuing my education through programs as JET or a master’s in International Business.
Born and raised in Seattle, Washington; Elliott sees Seattle as a city that breathes life into those who live there. In turn the environment creates people who are culturally aware, educated, conservative yet liberal, and genuinely unique. With a broad outlook on life and an ever growing desire to help, CollegeDough.com is Elliott’s pathway to reaching out to those looking for guidance. Everyone everywhere should have an opportunity to pursue higher education. |
